Spark Bird

The White-breasted Nuthatch is my spark bird....the one that got me interesting in bird watching.

I still delight when watching this little bird go down a tree head first.

Wonderful. It got me wondering what my spark bird was. Then I realized that it was more like a smouldering event that got fanned into a firestorm.

We have both species here and they are so quick that to get a photo is a true capture! My spark bird is always the waxwing because it looks like a toy.

These are fascinating birds.I don't think it was any particular bird as much as it was a competition between bus drivers to see the first spring arrivals.

Wow, I love the color, the shade of blue feels so "cool" to the eyes.
