Weather Be A Changing

The little birds all told me this morning that the weather is changing for at least a couple of days. When I went out to check the feeders, there was woodpeckers all over the place. In the length of time it took me to walk back in the home for the camera, all the woodpeckers disappeared but all the other little birds showed up. You can see that we are having a light but steady snow.

My squirrels disappeared with our unusual cold and this last snow...but being as they can be such pests at the bird feeders I do not miss them.

Well you don't need a weather forecaster to tell you what's happening, just watch the birds.

The birds are never wrong.

I love that first shot with all the Sparrows on the lattice and the softness of the snow falling. The rest are nice too - The Blue Jays added a shot of color!

The blue jays look like they're traffic cops.."All right, keep moving, let's move along here."
