Last fall, after the leaves had fallen off of the trees, we spotted this little bird nest. I was going to take a picture of it but got side tracked. Then the other day, the sun reflected off of all the Christmas tree icicles that were used in it's construction and reminded me to get a picture.
It's a small nest being only about 4-5 inches long, hung from a single point and appears to be shaped like a drop of water. It looks like it's starting to break down after being up in the tree at least a year. I'm thinking that it's a tree swallow nest. Any ideas???
